RG COAXIAL COMMUNICATION CABLES

NEK Kabel Sealine Coaxial Communication Cables includes RG6, RG11, RG58, RG59, RG213 and RG214, RF (Radio Frequency) cables such as low loss, HI-Flex, and radiating are offered in sizes ranging from ¼”, ½”, 7/8”, 1¼” and 1 5/8”. These are used when optimum performance is required for coaxial communication applications such as broadcast, audio, video, and multimedia. These cables are designed and manufactured with SHF1, SHF2, and MUD-resistant NEK606 materials, offering exceptional fire-retardant properties. Designed for harsh environments, they endure corrosive conditions like saline atmospheres, UV radiation, extreme temperatures, hydrocarbons, oils, and drilling fluids, meeting IEC 60092-359 standards for offshore and shipboard cables. Notably, these cables are fire-retardant IEC60332, effectively curbing the spread of fire, emitting minimal smoke, and producing no toxic gases in the unfortunate event of a fire outbreak; and IEC 60331 fire resistant properties designed to function in a fire, ensuring the integrity of vital circuits applications.

NEK Sealine RG Coaxial cables are designed to carry radiofrequency (RF) current more efficiently than other cable types, minimizing power loss and reducing the risk of data loss. These cables excel in handling external electromagnetic interference and find application in transmitting various signals such as video, TV antenna, and digital audio signals. RG6, RG11, RG58, and RG59 are examples with a 75-ohm impedance, ideal for applications like TV antenna signals. RG213 and RG214 have a 50-ohm impedance, suitable for VHF/UHF equipment. These coaxial cables has a stranded silver plated copper center conductor, solid low-density polyethylene dielectric (insulation), and two silver-coated copper braid shields, which provide excellent resistance to electrical interference, resulting in consistent current.

Additionally, NEK Sealine RF (Radio Frequency) cables are designed to the type of system and signals these cables carry. These radio frequency cables are essential for conducting radio frequency signals, especially in applications generating multi-megahertz range frequencies. They serve purposes ranging from radio antennas, radars, GPS devices to mobile phone antennas, enabling the transmission of RF signals in areas where reception is typically challenging.
Radiating cables, also known as leaky feeders, differ from standard coaxial cables as they are intentionally designed to radiate signals. This “leaky” characteristic involves gaps or slots in the outer conductor, allowing the radio signal to leak along the cable’s length. Line amplifiers are necessary at intervals to boost the signal due to this leakage.

To ensure reliability, NEK Sealine Coaxial Communication Cables come with various armorings, providing protection against accidental damage, rodents, ballistic impact, moisture, and laying operations. This versatile combination offers a durable solution for diverse application scenarios, aiming to mitigate internal interference like crosstalk noise and protect against external interference such as electrostatic and electromagnetic interference. The primary objective is to meet the increasing bandwidth needs of applications in dense environments while ensuring robust performance and safeguarding against potential interferences.

NEK Kabel’s Sealine cables are certifed by various classifications bodies such as Det Norske Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd (DNV-GL), Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS), and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), etc, and its diverse cable solutions serve major EPC operators, shipyards, owners, automation firms and top oil companies worldwide (such as Staoil, Aker, Kongsberg, Prosafe, Shell, Sonangol, Saudi Aramco, Exxon Mobil, Qatar Petroleum, Total Energies, Chevron, BP, ADNOC, Marathon Petroleum, Dana Gas, Kuwait Petroleum, Novatek, Woodside, BHP, Gazprom, Valero Energy, PetroChina, Cosco, Equinor, Petrobras, etc), worldwide across 5 continents.
