NEK Kabel’s Sealine QFCI QFAI 2 UNI Fibre Optics DNV, is engineered with SHF1 properties offering exceptional fire-retardant properties. Designed for marine and offshore environments, this cable is applicable for harsh conditions like saline atmospheres, UV radiation, extreme temperatures, hydrocarbons resistance, oil resistance IRM 902, and drilling fluids, meeting IEC 60092-359 standards for offshore, shipboard cables and mining operations. Additionally, this cable is fire-retardant IEC60332, effectively curbing the spread of fire, emitting minimal smoke, and producing no toxic gases in the unfortunate event of a fire outbreak; and IEC 60331 fire resistant properties designed to function in a fire, ensuring the integrity of vital circuits applications. It is further mechanically enhanced with dielectric anti rodent glass yarns armouring having similar mechanical strength and resistance as compared to steel wiring, providing protection against accidental damage, rodents, ballistic impact, moisture, and laying operations.

NEK Sealine Dielectric series are manufactured in accordance to IEC stringent standards, and ideal for areas with high lightning‐strike incidence and with risk of strike from power cables, and do not require any bonding and grounding. It is lighter in weight, more flexible, allowing a lighter bending radius than metallic armoured cables. Importantly, the cable contains no metallic components and can be installed with no concern about electromagnetic interferences (EMI) or radio frequency interference (RFI).

NEK Sealine Fiber Optic Communication Cables possesses a full range of standard compliant multimode cables including OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4 and OM5, and single mode OS2 (G.657A1) cables; and guarantees reliable system performance for 10 Gb/s Ethernet serial transmission, 40 Gb/s and 100 Gb/s Ethernet transmission and it low attenuation values exceed and meet the requirements of the ISO/IEC 11801 standard.
