Event – Maritime Cat7A Solutions Training – ConocoPhillips & SMOE Shipyard
On the request of ConocoPhillips and shipyard SMOE, a specialized training on Nexans maritime LANmark cabling solutions was jointly organized by Nexans maritime LAN partner AX Coleman and Nexans Singapore. Attended by 20 participants from ConocoPhillips and SMOE, the training was in preparation and as a result of the on-going Cat7A and FO cabling installation works on board the Ekofisk Accommodation Platform at the Sembawang Shipyard.
Conducted by Nexans international training manager, Alain Geypens from Nexans Cabling Solutions Belgium, the 2-Days training on 11th - 12th June 2012 at the Mandarin Orchard Hotel Singapore, covers hot topics ranging from: structured cabling standards, basic cabling designs, Category 7A and Fibre Optic Theory, to hand-on practical GG45 installation training, field-testing procedures, and warranty and certification processes.
The Training was conducted successfully. Level of understanding and confidence was increased for both ConocoPhillips and SMOE on Nexans high-end cabling products and Nexans value-added services. It reinforces Nexans commitment to customer orientation to achieve all-round customer satisfactions.
